 Writing A Letter(open)

Dicey pulled a group of cornrows behind an ear, as she walked into her dorm. She sighed, plopping her back pack down on the ground next to a bed. "So this is it?" she sighed. She sat down in the bed, and zipped her back pack open to take out a notebook and a pen. She opened the notebook up to the first blank page and started to write.

Quote:
Dear Missy,
She wrote.

Quote:
Missy, this is weird. I feel suphocated. It's horrible. I need you here. I really, really need you here, Missy. Nobody here is like me. Nobody. Missy, please make Dad and Momma let you transfer. Why would they make me transfer and not let you? It makes no sense. It's like they WANT us to be seperated, and that's not right. I wish that I could be home, more than everything. Everything here is so weird... so new. No big family here, Missy. Nothing. They might as well buy some camals and a coyote to add to this wasteland. I need you. Please?

Love you,
Dicey.

Dicey put down her pen, and ripped out the piece of paper. She would bring it to the Mail Room later today. Maybe Missy would persuade Dad and Momma. Maybe. But it didn't seem likely.

Jayce made her way into the girls dorms. She wasn't a bit exhausted just a littel bored. She wanted to go to the beach but that wasn't allowed all because her mom didn't sign the permission slip. "Stupid parents..." she grumbled. She walked right past an unfamiliar face. She didn't know if it was a good idea to interrrupt the girl. The girl looked like she was busy and didn't want to be bothered, but that never stopped the infamous Jayce Blackwell.

"Hiya!" she exclaimed in the girls direction. She looked at the girl for a couple of minutes and then looked away. She didn't know what she was doing, but she decided to go along with it.

Dicey looked up, when she heard somebody say 'hiya!'. When she saw nobody in front of her, she turned around to see (no duh) another girl. "Hey," she said, stuffing her papers into her back pack. "Do you know whether or not this is already somebody's bed? Because I'm new," Dicey said.

"Name's Dicey Kerry," she said with a little smile. She was so intimidated by all of the people here. They seemed so... Dicey wasn't sure what. "Who're you?" she asked, swallowing hard. She hoisted the backpack up and over her back. She sighed. Why did she have the backpack on, again? She wasn't planning on leaving any time soon. Maybe the Mail Room. She really wanted Missy to get her letter soon. But she felt like staying for, eh, maybe a few minutes at least.

"Ummm," she said thinkingly. "Not that I know of." she said dropping her stuff on the other bed. Jayce didn't care whether or not someone else had unpacked their stuff. She wanted to sit down. She had been looking for a room to stay in anyway. And that room happened to be the last room with no one in it except for the other girl that she was talking to.

"Name's Dicey Kerry, Who're you?"

Jayce looked at the girl. Her name reminded her of the dice that you would use to play games with. "I'm Jayce," she stated. She didn't see the point in giving her last name. It wasn't like Dicey was going to google her or something odd like that. She looked around the room. "So, where are you from?" she asked trying to make a small conversation.
