Playing Hard(open)

Roxy wondered into the game room. She had had a long day and decided to something fun. She thought she deserved it since she had been unpacking all day. She spotted a pinball machine in one of the far corners. "Dang it!" she exclaimed as she read the Out Of Order sign that was posted on the coin slot. She looked around the room. There was a pool table. She decided to pratice for a little while. She needed to practice her breaking. She used to enjoy playing pool at her church with her friends, but it was now lonley since there was not another soul in the room and the only noise was the clinging of the pool balls. She heaved a sigh and kept playing. Roxy was always surrounded by people and she was now getting a taste of what it was like to be lonley.

Note from hope: remember to put open by the title so people know it's open

Jayce waltzed into what Clarity would like to call the game room. The game room did have a lot of stuff in there but nothing she was really willing to play. She walked right by the girl that was playing pool by herself and made her own way over to the stereo. She put in her favorite cd by From First to Last. It was their latest cd called Herione. Jayce had fell in love with them after hearing the first cd.

She began to dance to the music and that's when the girl caught her eye. She cocked her head to the side and kept dancing. "I'm Jayce" she yelled over the blaring music. That's how she liked music. Nice and loud. "Who are you?!' she squeaked.

A girl walked in. She passed right by her to the stero. She put in some CD she had never heard of.

"I'm Jayce. Who are you"

"Name's Roxanne. But call me Roxy," she yelled back across the room. She continued with her game of pool. The music was ear peirceing loud." Roxy shook her head and tried to concentrate on sinking the eight ball in that corner pocket, but unfortunaely missed. She decided to take a break from pool as her irritation with the game grew. "So who is this band?" she asked trying to start a conversation.

Jayce kept dancing around in the Game Room. She watched as the girl try to sink the ball in the pocket. "It's nice to meet you Roxy." she yelled. She kept dancing to From First to Last as the songs were changing. She watched as Roxy gave up on the game. Once the song was changing she decided to walk over to her. "Umm, it's From First to Last." she stated. Jayce made her way over to the stereo and decided to turn it down some. "That's better, I guess." she shrugged. She knew that most people didn't like music blasting at their eardrums, so she was being kind enough to turn it down for the girl. "So, Roxy what room number are you?" she asked out of curiousity.

"Its nice to meet you too," Roxanne yelled back across the room. She watched her prance around the room until she walked back over to the stero and turned down the volume.

"That's better I guess."

Roxy heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank you, so its First to last huh? They sound pretty cool. Im into Fall Out Boy and Green Day mostly, but they sound cool, and I'm in room 24," Roxy stated. She lined her pool stick back up with the eight ball and bounced it off the side of the table and got it in. "Yes," she said and threw her hands up into the air. "So do u play?" Roxy asked and ponted to the pool table.

"Nooo...It's From First to Last." she laughed. Jayce knew that many people did make that mistake. They also did it with a few other bands that she listens to. She nodded in agreement with Roxy. She had also listened to Green Day and Fall Out Boy, probably more Fall Out Boy than Green Day. "I like the song Basket Case by Green Day." she stated out of nowhere.

"So do u play?"

Jayce looked at the pool table. She knew how to play and thought it was the most boring game that was on the earth. "Umm, yeah, but pool is kinda boring to me...I don't like waiting for my turn." she sighed looking at the eight ball that was left on the table. Her dad had always played pool with her and she would always lose. That's probably another reason why she doesn't like playing.

"Yeah, i understand," she replied. And she really did. At her church when they had played pool or other games she had the tendancy of being put last. She really hated. But then again there was the advantage of the balls being in more than one place, so it was close to ideal. She wondered what else could have been keeping this girl form playing.
Roxy coughed. "So, got any brothers or sisters of the sort?" she askes. She walked around the pool table to the pool-stick rack on the wall.

Jayce looked around the room for a minute and especially kept her eyes on the pool table. She didn't know why she found the game boring except for the fact that she had to wait her turn constantly. She shrugged it off and looked back at Roxy as she asked about her family. "I have a twin brother, Zander." she piped up. She wasn't all that enthused about her brother. He happened to be older by a couple of minutes but still acted like the younger sibling. "You might catch him wandering around here shortly." she stated. Jayce never did like being around her brother. He would always pick her up and beat her up and stuff like that.
